School Buddies is our mentoring program that takes place within the child's school during school hours.
School buddies meet once a week and can assist in a variety of ways to enable the child's success in school and in their personal self-esteem.
School buddies do not meet outside of the school hours and and have a fixed location.
Youth aged 16+ can participate as a "youth mentor" in a school buddies program.

The Group Mentor option is for those interested in working with a variety of children and youth in one of our weekly or monthly programs.
Currently we are planning the following:
Active Kids Club: a monthly active program that will see kids exploring our community and participating in fun and exciting active programs including: hiking, multi-sports, swimming, outdoor games, and exploring nature.
We will be working on additional programs later in 2016-2017.
Mission: To match children and youth, who will benefit, with mentors who will help them build confidence and self-esteem.
A Mentor Buddy is a 1 on 1 friendship between an Adult Mentor and a child/youth client.
Mentor buddies can come in a variety of forms, individual, couple, family, and for those who have the time, you can mentor more than one client at a time.
Mentor friendships can participate in our group programs as well as planning their own outings and activities on a weekly basis. It is ideal that a Mentor Friendship lasts a minimum of 1 year, but can continue until the child is 16 years old.
